The latest version of Samsung Internet comes with new features to enhance your browsing experience. One of these features is the ability to search for specific settings within the app, making it easier to navigate and customize your browsing experience. Additionally, the app now offers end-to-end encryption for synced data, ensuring that your saved pages, bookmarks, open tabs, quick access, and history are protected in the Samsung Cloud. This feature is available for users with OneUI 6.1 or higher, and can be accessed through the Samsung Cloud app version 5.5.10 or higher.

Some changes have been made to the app's interface, such as the removal of options to change the scroll bar position and hide the scroll bar. These changes aim to improve the overall usability of the app.

Samsung Internet also prioritizes your security and privacy while browsing the internet. The app offers features like Smart Anti-Tracking, which identifies and blocks domains with cross-site tracking abilities, and Protected Browsing, which warns you before accessing known malicious sites. Additionally, the app allows for content blocking through third-party apps, making your browsing experience safer and more streamlined.

In order to continuously improve the app's usability, A/B testing may be conducted on versions 21.0 or later. This testing collects data on feature usage rates, but does not collect any personal information from users.

These permissions are necessary for features like location-based content, webpage shooting, and recording. However, users have the option to turn off these permissions if they choose. Other permissions, such as access to phone information and nearby devices, are only required for specific features and are not mandatory for the app's functionality.
