Users can also choose to save transcriptions for 3 days, which can be copied and pasted elsewhere.

In addition to real-time transcriptions, the app also offers sound notifications for important sounds around the user, such as smoke alarms or a baby crying. Users can even add custom sounds to be notified when their appliances beep. The app also allows users to review sounds from the past 12 hours to see what was happening around them.

The app requires Android 12 and up to function properly. To provide feedback and receive product updates, users can join the Accessible Google Group or connect with the app's support team for help. The app also requires microphone and notification access to function, but the audio is not stored after transcriptions or recognized sounds are processed. Live Transcribe also needs access to nearby devices to connect with Bluetooth microphones.
