Book of Spells 5e & 2024

The application is a database that contains spells from all the official 5e books. It also allows users to add their own homebrew spells or modify existing ones. The database has a vast array of filters to help users quickly and efficiently find spells.

Users can create a spellcaster sheet for their character, which includes information such as name, classes, level, spellcasting ability score, proficiency, portrait, theme color, and more. The app automatically calculates important stats for the caster, such as spell save DC, spell attack modifier, spell slots, cantrips known, spells known, and number of spells that can be prepared. These calculations can also be manually modified if needed.

All necessary spells from the user's chosen classes and subclasses are automatically added, and the rest can be managed in the 'Prepare' tab. In the 'Cast' tab, users can expend spell slots to cast their known or prepared spells. The app also has a dice roller feature for spells that require a spell attack or contain a roll formula.

Some class features, feats, or items may give users spells that can only be cast a limited number of times per day. These spells can be tracked in the 'Daily' tab. The long rest option restores all expended spell slots and a selected number of daily uses or charges for trackers. Multiclassing is fully implemented, with the correct number of spell slots for spellcasting and pact magic.

The app also automatically checks the description fields of all spells and links details for any conditions it finds. Users can also import and export all their created characters and homebrew spells. It is important to note that the app is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast in any way.
